Responsibilities

• Contribute to medium scale planning and implementation of strategies to build highly scalable distributed solutions
• Design, code, test, debug, and document with business and technology domain acumen, including for upgrades and deployments
• Introduce enterprise capabilities, tools, and innovation improving availability in a cloud ecosystem by evolving observability, monitoring, logging, dashboard visualization, CI/CD integration, continuous testing (performance, smoke, regression, functional, chaos) 
• Introduce continuous improvement, standardization/automation, capabilities to conduct destructive and resiliency testing
• Development and usage of REST APIs and other types of interfaces.
• Resolve issues to meet existing/potential needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures requirements
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Software Engineering experience in one or more of the following
  • Design: Including knowledge of UI/UX and prototyping
  • Front-end: Expertise in front-end technologies, including JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5 and third-party libraries such as React js, Angular, jQuery and others. Experience in building Native Android and iOS apps. 
  • Application programming: Knowledge of server-side programming languages including Python, Java, C# and any other functional languages.
  • Database: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Hadoop and NoSQL 
  • OS and Platform - AWS, Lambda, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Linux 
  • CI/CD and Automation: Jenkins, GitHub/Gitlab, SonarQube, Ansible, Puppet, Prometheus, Elastic, Kibana, Grafana, Splunk.
  • Testing: JUnit/PyUnit, Chaos Monkey, Selenium, jmeter, Blazemeter 
• Experience with Agile Scrum (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospective meetings) and Kanban methodologies
• 1+ years in the Capital Markets or Banking and Financial Services
• Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive leaders.
• Working experience in a high energy performance focused environment.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in computer science and Engineering from reputed Engineering institutes
• Certifications in Cloud Computing, Data Science, Information Security and other related technologies.
